A family member signed us up for a storage unit at this facility in Oct 2023 when we had to vacate our apartment in Sedalia. It was put in my fiancée ******* ********* name and I was added as an authorized person. We relocated to Springfield, MO, and it took us 6 months to find an apartment. We moved all our things out of storage in mid May 2024. There were dead mice in our things; they came from the storage unit. I called to inform them that we had vacated our unit. I was not aware that they required a 30 day notice. The person I talked to on the phone said they would email the owners to see if something could be worked out. I never heard anything back. On June 1st 2024 they took $76 out of our bank account. When Matthew called them, the person on the phone was incredibly rude and refused to do anything. We don't think we should have to pay for an entire month on an empty unit over a policy that we were not aware of. On top of that, I have the added inconvenience of having to wash all my son's toys for sanitary reasons because of the dead mice in his things.

    Hello,

We are sorry for the miscommunication and your experience. While our rental agreement does include a notice period, we've waived that requirement and refunded your last payment.
