    I paid $2,700 to have my rear differential placed and two weeks ago I spoke to ********* (manager) and explained that the replacement should have lasted 100,000 miles. ********* said I would only have to pay for labor but then when I went back they wanted to charge me $1,900 for repairs per corporate. I do not feel I should have to pay this as they didn't do the job correctly in the first place and I paid $2,700.

    *** ****** was in for service 10/19/2022 at 102,068 miles on his Cadillac ATS. The installation was performed by an ASE master mechanic. This repair is outside of our warranty period of 12 months or 12,000 miles. Attached is his signed invoice. We've extended an offer to do the same work for $800 less than the original invoice to get *** ******** vehicle working.

    Big O attempted to resolve this through BBB process by offering a new rear differential at $1,900 for the customer. This offer was rejected which is the customers right. Rear differentials wear out early in high speed, high load, aggressive cornering and countless other driving habits. We are not suggesting that this is how the customer drives but to state there are factors outside of Big O's control that accelerate wear on parts.  We stand behind our products and installation. Labor and parts are covered for a 12 month 12,000 miles period. This repair is outside of our warranty period.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am not pleased with the resolution. I do not drive in the manners mentioned. I have had the necessary repairs done elsewhere and believe that in two years (which was the life of Big O Tires repair job) my car will still be operating properly. I still believe the parts were defective or installed improperly.
