    We paid a $5000.00 down payment in September 2023. At the end of December 2023, we paid one-half down for over $29000.00. The actual project started the first week of April 2024. They had our monies interest-free for over three months. The project would take three weeks with our payment at the end of each week. We paid for 2 weeks with a third payment before Memorial Day. We stated we wanted the project completed by Memorial Day 2024. After Memorial Day, the company walked away leaving an unfinished project.The back of our lakehouse is unsafe. I have fallen in this area twice and their workers have also fallen. They did deck repair, but we found problems they did not fix. They tore up the back of the lakehouse, cracking the sidewalk, and leaving a dirt mess to be sodded. They did not connect the existing sidewalk to the new sidewalk. The new sidewalk does not drain properly and one step is a hazard; requiring a person to take a deep step. They ripped out the grasses we had for erosion control and did not replace them. The dirt behind a portion of the new concrete wall was never filled in.They took our money and ran.I am a 100% disabled Vietnam Vet. Is this the way to treat a 77-year-old Vet?Since the project is unfinished, we refuse to pay the final amount, around $1400.00.We do not recommend this company for any contract work.
