I bought a car from ******** auto sales and it had an oil leak when I got it. I took it to get repaired with my warranty and when i got my vehicle back a month later it was over heating and oil was leaking out faster than I could replace it. Needed 2 Quarts a day to keep to going. I gave the car back to ******* and they put a new engine and a new radiator in it. Not even a month later it needed a new AC compressor because the engine was locking up. I paid for the AC compressor because my warranty maxed out at the engine and radiator repairs. And this all happened within a span of 4 months. Fast forward to now and my engine is stuck in lent mode and won’t go any faster than 40 mph. I took it to get looked at and my engine is sending out transmission codes. I cant afford a 3,000 dollar repair and i cant afford a 100 dollar diagnosis that will only tell me i need a 3,000 dollar repair. If i give the car back my credit will take a hit and I’m not gonna continue to pay off a loan for a car i can’t drive. I don’t know what to do from here and I can’t get a hold of Nathan directly I always talk to his employee ****** who isn’t much help.

    Business Response

We are a buy here pay here dealership, each of our vehicles are ran through a service department to try to make sure that when a vehicle leaves it is in as good of condition that we can possibly make a USED car. As a buy here pay here, most of our customers have tarnished credit and we know that they are on a limited budget, but we can't control what or how the vehicle is driven or how it is maintained after it leaves our location. We always try oy have the customer purchase a service contract for their protection and ours, but we cannot maintain their vehicles. This vehicle was purchased 10/25/22. W e reached out to Ms. ******* to see what we may can help her with but she has put almost 30,000 miles on the vehicle in 8 months so it couldn't have been as bad a vehicle as she claims, we are sorry that she's not in a place where she can fix her vehicle but we as well can't maintain her car. Hope this helps in someway.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

It would be a much different story if the car stopped having issues but it never did. It had the engine, radiator, and ac compressor replaced now the transmission is acting up. I’m not sure how it normally works but I’m pretty sure that just means they sold me a piece of junk. I haven’t even had this car for a year that’s what the warranty is supposed to cover but I “maxed it out.” There is no way in hell a regular car worth 9 thousand dollars should have this many issues within 6 months. ******** scammed me.
