All of my insurance policies renew on May 27th of each year. (Homeowners, vehicles, RV, umbrella). I stored my RV at this facility. They require proof of my own insurance or charge me for theirs. They requested this document be submitted to them within 24 hours of the expiration date. My insurance agent sent the document they requested on May 21st, a week before it was due. They ran my credit card for insurance on May 28th. I called and they said they would fix it. They charged me again on May 29th. I called and was informed that a manager would call me the following Monday. On June 1st, I was charged for my rent and insurance again. When the manager called, she offered to credit one of the three improper charges to my July bill. I requested that all three amounts be refunded immediately. She eventually said we were going around in circles an hung up on me. I moved my belongings to another facility. I informed them by email and phone that I had moved out and they were no longer authorized to charge my credit card for any amount. They charged me again on July 1st, saying I had to give thirty day notice of move out. I would have been happy to give 30 day notice to a company that didn't steal from me three times and hang up the phone on an existing customer. I have reported their abuse of my credit card to Bank of America and Visa. They are working on getting the money back as well. I am also filing a Consumer Complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's office.
