    On 9/01/24 I went to Take 5 for an oil change. In addition to the oil change, I ended up getting some new wiper blades and a fuel system cleaner. While the technicians were installing the wiper blades, one of them accidentally dropped the wiper arm on to the windshield. Being that the arm is spring loaded and that the arm is metal, it caused a star crack on the windshield where it hit. A few days later, the cracks started progressing up the windshield, and continue to spread every day. Safety is becoming a major concern as the cracks spread further across the windshield, compromising it's integrity.I contacted the business shortly after noticing the cracks, and have been proceeding to check in with them periodically. The manager at the facility has said he sent the information on to higher-**** but nobody has reached out to me. I am sad to say this has turned into a customer nightmare, which is far from what I had hoped. The staff at the facility were very pleasant, but apparently those who run the company don't care about their customers.I am going to get the windshield replaced for the safety of my family once I have the money. At the very least, I'd like the company to fully cover those expenses. I'd still be unhappy with the handling of this situation, that it has and will require so much of my time for a mistake the company made. That could be made right with an additional compensation and a sincere apology, but at this point, I highly doubt the company cares enough to do the right thing.I'd like to again make the point that the facility staff were all very kind and well mannered. However, due to the obvious greed and poor customer service of the higher-**** I will not be returning as a customer unless this situation is made right. I am hoping we can resolve the issue without taking it to court, but I won't hold my breath.On a side note, I had two receipts. One for the oil and the other for the blades and fuel additive. I'll provide the blade receipt#.

    The company got my windshield replaced at their expense. While I had to jump through more hoops than I'd have liked to get this done, I am satisfied with the resolution. Some store credit or something would have been nice for the inconvenience, but I didn't figure that would happen anyway.

    Oil dipstick broke off lodged in tubing either from oil change they performed 5/24 or oil check 8/24. No one has opened the hood but Take 5. I've only driven 27 miles. It's a garaged vehicle. They lodged it further using drill picks etc trying to remove. Offered no solution told me that a *** would contact me. I called mechanic I've known for decades while there, he said don't drive and set appt to ***air. I've called multiple Take 5 numbers left messages, emailed no response. I have pics I took while at Take 5 too large to upload here.
