    Springnet provided by Brightspeed is terrible. **************** is awful. I originally ordered fiber internet and voice over the internet. Internet took along time (months) for them to finish connecting to the house. The technician constantly complained about his job. Once connected the fiber optics were just hanging out of my wall. I had to call and have them come out and put a box on the wall to hide the hole and make it look more professional. Then voice of the internet did not work for weeks. I had to spend hours on the phone with customer service being transferred back and form. The local representative fixed this in a few hours once I was able to speak to him. They had not configured my VoIC. Now Ive had the service for 6 months occasionally the internet would not work for a few minutes at a time or buffer movies for a long period of time but was working well. Then 3 weeks ago my modem quit working. I called and spoke to CS. They did the normal unplug restart nonsense that we all have done already and determined the modem had failed. They were to send me a modem; 2-3 business days to process and 2-3 days for shipping so **** days without fiber and phone service. They would credit my bill once the new modem had been delivered. 2 weeks later I still hadnt received the modem. I called today. I was told it had not been processed yet and would take another 2-3 business days to process and 3-5 business days to ship. So basically without internet and phone for 1 month during the holidays with kids out of school and family in town. I just received a phone call from Brightspeed stating they are unable to ship a modem overnight, no place to buy one directly from them faster, they dont recommend buying your own from elsewhere, and there is not a discount for providing your own modem. I do not recommend Springnet by Brightspeed.
