I'm recently widowed and wanting to downsize my home. I hired Arrowhead Roofing for some renovations. Paid them and they did not complete the jib to professional standards. They did not do my garage which was in an agreement to be done. The left me without gutters for 6 months causing mold damage under my home. Left a gas vent pipe loose making it hard to sleep for the rattle when the wind blew and put me at risk for carbon monoxide poisoning. My siding is buckling and I've got whole on my interior walls where there nails came straight through when doing the siding. They took a while to get my windows replaced and fixed back correctly causing mold to grow on my ***** and ***** to form inside during cold snaps. They pocketed the money to have a licensed electrician remove and reinstall my electrical box doing it themselves and put me at risk to have my power cut off until it was fixed correctly. They damaged my front fence gate as well as my foundation and have had horrible communication with me when I've tried to contact and ask questions about it all. They lied about replacing some of my decking and I can see light shining through my roof when in my attic still. All of this was found after having another contractor come in to inspect their work as well as help me with some of their hazardous work to keep me in good health. I could go for hours on all they did wrong but am running out of room to type.

    1. We completed work to professional standards as limited by budgetary restrictions.
    2. We did not agree to do any work on the garage.
    3. We did not leave the house without guttering. Infact ***** and her sister were informed of mold, and foundation issues before work commenced.
    4. Customer opted to not remove and replace the existing rotted sheathing and instead informed us to side over existing substrate.
    5. We replaced windows that were not included in our estimate. The previous windows were rotted out and not properly installed to begin with.
    6. There was no "pocketing" of money. ***** electric worked with the city of Republic. The electrical is out of code and the city of Republic did not enforce ***** to rewire her house.
    7. The fence post was loosened and repaired.
    8. We installed new 7/16 OSB over the entire roof deck. We even installed ZIP panel 7/16 on the north elevation of the home.
    9. Any unforseen circumstances and or unavoidable damages caused during renovations are subject to materials+labor bid.

    Summary
******* insurance company offered a below value repair estimate of $12k. We submitted an estimate for $46,203.29.

***** Opted to litigate. She utilized **** ************ who utilized our report and estimate. ***** settled with her carrier for 31k.

***** hired Arrowhead to install roof, siding and guttering on her home.

******* house has been long neglected. She and her carrier were provided a report on July 31st for the roof and siding issues and an additional report for siding and foundation issues on Augest 21.

*****, her sister and the carrier were informed of foundation issues and substrate issues. ******* sister was provided documentation of foundation issues and mold issues before the siding was remodeled.

***** is incorrect in her timeline and assement of our agreement. We have provided photos of the entire roof being redecked and the additional siding work.

We will provide additional documentation as requested. At this time we have exceeded the expectations of our agreement and have no further interest in working with *** *****.

    Complaint: ********

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:
I've known **** since he was little. We verbally agreed 9n wjatbi needed and wanted done and he assured me he could do it. That was my fault I guess for trusting his word. It wasn't till after he got paid and started the job that every thing went south and changed.  I did not have mold damage till after I was left without gutters and did have to hire someone else to fix my gas pipe after he ignored me and he did not properly remove or reinstall my electric meter.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *****

I was left without gutters from June to December, many months of rain, snow and moisture then going under my house causing the now new mold problem and we gave it in text that's time stamped. I went without storm windows for 7 months causing more moisture and mold to form on my window ***** making them rot as well and have time stamped messages as proof of that as well between us.

And I have the original copy of the scope of work from the insurance company stating and listing what I thought would be handled and needed to be handled by you had a copy of also and assured me would be done my garage included in it. Also, you haven't been out to actually look anything over since the issues have arise so you can't speak of the work that was dine if you've not overseen it. Andnyou did not replace the pan vents I was charged for and that was to be replaced. I have proof from another roofers inspection stating they weren't replaced.

You stated you put on and charged me for 3 tab shingles and I was informed during another companies inspection after I'd had them check things over and fix my exhaust pipe that 3 tabs are not what was installed on my roof. And my previous photos of messages between us do show proof and are time stamped so you can see my timeline is correct and easy math will show how long it did take you to get my gutters up. As well as how long it took you to finish everything else.

We first contacted Ozark Coatings to grind and apply epoxy on our patio. They could not do the job. We were sent to ***** who stated he would send his lead man **** to look at it. Come to find out **** did not work for *****. **** stated he could do the job for $4500-5000. We agreed. He was scheduled for Tuesday after Labor Day and texted the Sunday before wanting to start early. We had things to move but agreed. They were here 4-5 hours and left, coming back in the morning. No show and I got a lame text excuse why they didn't show. On Tuesday a very young man showed up to grind the concrete to finish that portion, yet no one else showed. This young man wasn't even given a mask, water or help. They came to get their tools later that day because we basically fired them. They called the Sherrif because they thought we were trying to keep them getting their tools. **** begged to finish the job, we reluctantly agreed. They finally came on Wednesday morning to finish the job. They slopped epoxy on our siding, didn't even try and clean it. Did provide a piece of trim that the color matched, not texture (they were given a sample). They've tried twice to fix a spot, looks a little better but the untrained eye could find it easily. Offered to refund, undisclosed amount of money, never have seen that. We also have never received the warranty that was to be mailed. **** does not answer phone calls. He has little to no communication skills. The promised refund would be nice, communication from **** would be helpful. And I'd like my warranty. They also sent a bill via text that had the incorrect address on it. I had to ask for that to be corrected.

1.) Grind start date and completion date. We offered early start date to get a jump start on grinding. We completed install by our agreed upon completion date. Completed by the 4th of September

    *********************************************

Here is a photo log of their coating. We repaired their concrete beyond our original scope to give a nice finish.

2.) ******* sent a text on the 3rd "You're right about not showing up" which prompted me to call him. ******* was angry myself and crew decided the best option was to remove our equipment and cancel our contract. Upon arrival ******* had been drinking and was blocking access to my equipment with his truck. He still had a beer in hand upon arrival. I had no intention to wait for ********* controlling shenanigans and opted to call the sherif who promptly arrived.

3.)We did not beg to finish the job by any means and in fact a 3rd party real estate agent interviened and asked us to complete the job for ******* sake. ***** is ******** wife. We agreed to complete the job and the real estate agent agreed to broker communication and ensure we would be paid.

4.) A repair spot was done and we were told it looked great and all was well. ****** did get some base coat on a stick of J channel. This is a 13$ piece of vinyl. ***** ok'd the piece and we left on site.

5.) I will be very clear we do not offer refunds by any means. Concrete by its very nature is inconsistent therefore any coating will be inconsistent by nature.

6.) We do not fill out warranty information for customers.

We will provide this link to ******* warranty information****************************************

7.) I am not responsible for direct communication with all customers and ******* has ******** phone number and is more than welcome to talk to him about discerning whether additional repair is warranted or not.

8.) We have fulfiled and exceeded our contractual requirements at this time. ******* & ***** your coating looks great if you need anything reach out to ****** as he is your source of contact.
