    Springfield friends: if you ever need burial services for a loved one, avoid Klingner-Cope Funeral Home at ALL COSTS. My mother was buried at the ********** location (*********) 20+ years ago. When my father passed away in 2023, he understandably wanted to be buried next to her. From day one we had numerous unprofessional experiences. The worst part is that more than a year after my fathers death, his grave marker still has not yet been completed. It has been paid in full since his burial planning (they acknowledge this), yet when we visit the office, call, email, or text, we are given one excuse after another. Now we just get no response at all from them. How incredibly sad and pathetic that they would do this to a grieving family. This was not a special circumstance or unusual request, this is standard process. Our father would be incredibly upset to see his children struggling with his final arrangements more than a year after his death. Please help share the word that this company is not worthy of honoring your loved one.
