We paid Silverline Construction $2,137.50 on 8-5-24 to build a gazebo to house a statue. This was a 60% deposit of their bid to cover cost of initial labor and materials with final payment due at the conclusion of the job. Their invoice described the job requirements: "build gazebo to cover statue, build elevated stand for statue and complete any and all finish work including landscaping and stain/seal." They additionally promised solar lighting, asphalt shingled roof, non-slip strips on the ramp. The owner said the job would take 2-3 weeks for completion with the job beginning around 8/12/2024. They began construction then various excuses for delays were received by text. On 9/7/24, they left the job site "to get coffee" and never returned. We reached out to them on 9/19/24, having been told they were on "vacation" from 9/9/24-9/16/24, to inquire when they would return to the job. As of today, 10/8/24, they have not returned any of our calls or texts. The job is incomplete, the work that has been done and the materials used are of substandard quality and not worth the value of the $2,137.50 that was paid to them. This company has completely abandoned the project without any conversation or communication with us since. We have uploaded supporting documents including: (1) their invoice detailing the project description, (2) a pictorial example they provided of the gazebo they promised and the pedestal for the statue they promised to build, (3) a receipt confirming our 60% down payment, (4) their Certificates of ******************* and ******************* (4) screenshots of the text messages we sent them and received from them with explanatory notes from us for clarification purposes, and (5) photos of the gazebo as it stands now.
