?December 4th, you sent a mobile mechanic to diagnose the issue of my truck not starting. Your mechanic ultimately determined that bad gas was the culprit. He recommended the tanks be emptied and cleaned to rectify. The truck was towed to your repair shop for this repair to be completed. You misquoted a price of $750-$850 for this service along with an engine tune up (new spark plugs, fuel filter, wire set, distribution cap, oil change, rotor bug, and coil). Ultimately charged $956.89 ?After both tanks were cleared and cleaned, the truck would still not start confirming my suspicion of misdiagnosis. You then determined on December 6, 2024, that the engine needed to be rebuilt instead, due to worn piston rings. You guaranteed that the engine would then run exactly as it was supposed to. You misquoted this repair as being $2,200-$2,400 and needed a $1200 down payment to start. I paid you $1500 on December 9th. You ultimately tried to charge $3,212.55 for this work and said it would be done in a couple of weeks.?January 10th, 2025, additional parts ($400) that we did not approve ?January 13th, 2025, you informed me that you had dented the door on my truck as it had rolled off the ramp at your shop and crashed into a concrete pillar.?January 20th, 2025, head gasket was blowing compression into the radiator.?January 24th, 2025 I arrive, and we go back and forth on the billing and eventually I agree to pay a total of $3,700. At test drive, and it wont get out of first gear and runs out of gas thereafter indicating to me that the work was rushed, not double checked, and not confirmed. ?January 25th, 2025, Picked the truck up notating my 12-month warranty.?February 7th, 2025, I dropped the truck back off because the now mismatched door that you had replaced was not opening and closing properly and felt like it was coming loose. You confirmed that the door clips were too loose. The truck is idling poorly, had little power, and the engine knocks.

My bmw has been there for most of the year now and still isn’t running. I paid him for an engine swap sometime ago and he assured me that my car would be running even better than before. I did get it back a few months ago and he said he had fixed it, that car hadn’t even gotten me down the gd street before it broke down again and since I brought it back, every single time I’d call to check when it was done ** would say “oh sometime next week” or “In about a week” Well it has been several weeks, even several months now and I haven’t heard anything about my car.

A used engine was purchased with the consumer's permission.  The salvage yard offers a 30-day warranty.  The engine was bad; I tried fixing it out of my own pocket.  It couldn't be fixed.  The salvage yard is not honoring their own warranty.
