      I pay them every month on time. They called me telling me I owed them *****. I sent money for rent.

      This is in regards to the tenants dispute. ************* was sent a rent increase letter in August of 2023 to increase his rent from $560 to $650 to adjust for the current market value. This increase became effective October 2023. We reminded the tenant of the rent increase before the October payment was made.  The tenant stated he was not going to pay the increase. We have tried to work with the tenant to no avail. The tenant had always paid a month ahead but the credit was used up with the shortage of the monthly payments he was making.   He is falling further and further behind with each months payment because he will only pay the old rent amount.   After six months of trying to get him to pay the new rent amount we have been left with no other choice but to file eviction. I have attached a copy of the rent increase letter along with his tenant ledger showing the amount due and the amount that he paid. 

      Please let me know if you need any additional information or if I can be of further assistance.  We are able to stop the eviction if the tenant pays the current balance owed and starts to pay the new rent amount.
