      I was late on rent because our food stamps had a glitch and we couldn't afford the rent cuz we were paying for food and we explained that to them we had the money that was coming in just a week's time before they then informed us that they would file an eviction even though we were barely a month late and we were going to have 2 months worth of rent and they refused to wait until they said they would evict us and so in the process of us trying to find a new place we spent the money that we had for the rent and now we can't move because that situation is not working out but we've lost the money and now they've given us a 5-day eviction notice and we never received notice for an eviction hearing to play our case

      *********, was given multiple changes to pay rent in payments and in full before eviction was filed. Each time he would state he would make a payment then nothing would be paid. I have all messages between myself and ********* to confirm this.  After several attempts to get a payment from him with no payments made eviction was filed. It was granted on January 7th the sheriff evict is set for January 16th at 8 am.

      Read management is trying to make me pay first months rent and down deposit on my apartment that I’ve already been living in for eight months. They are threatening to change my door locks if I dont let the exterminator in. They changed the mailbox locks and went through all of our mail and is not giving me a new key and they said they would work with me on rent payments and now they are trying to evict me. They are also telling people that we cannot have more than one car parked at the apartment building or we will be towed. They are also having employees acting like residents and getting stuff on people and trying to evict them over that. I have black and white proof of the locks and saying that they would work me. They are also refusing to let me make any sort of payment to try to get this evection off in my back. And I also shut off my power without telling me that they were gonna shut it off they have it transferred into my name. They know I do have a two-year-old living in my apartment. It says on my lease.

      We have just taken over this property (we manage it not own it) December first, the tenant owed rent before we took over. They are upset because we are evicting them due to nonpayment. They were given notice about the eviction.  They owe over $4000 in rent. We do not have any one spying on them. Once a eviction is filled we are not allowed to accept any money from the tenant they have to bring it to court so there is proof of the payment. This is advised to us by our lawyer. We are in the process of changing all the locks on the mailbox of a 36 unit complex with the help of a post office official standing there with us the whole time. There have been several that have been broken in to and we can only do so many at a time. When the unit mailbox is completed then we give the tenant the key. No one is going there their mail again we have a official there with us the whole time. Their rent is $700 a month and they are serval months behind. She was told before that she had to bring it to the court.

      I sent her a message saying that they were supposed to be working with me and then we got the new owners and she said she would work with me on that and I have a video proof of her going through the mail. And I’ve already changed my locks and I have not gotten the key. They are also towing out vehicles with personal trucks when they just put move it or lose it stickers on the vehicle.

      We are towing vehicles that have been tagged by the police to have then removed from the property. The person towing has his own personal business, we are doing everything the correct and legal way. We were granted Eviction on this unit on 1/5/2023. They have 10 days to removed their belongings and themselves before sheriffs get involved.

      I just got informed that I had 10 days to be out with no notification or anything, and also got told by one of my neighbors that day the landlords are going around telling everybody my business.

      We have a front stoop that is not level and the 4 x 4 has twisted, sinking sidewalk, and a yard that was never cleaned up after bobcat equipment tore it up and severe drainage issues from water running off ****** **** and ***** Street that has never been resolved since April!

      I am rejecting this response because:

      *********, ****’s mom, was the liaison person beginning in July when **** stopped responding to customers. She was going door to door collecting lists of issues and punch list items, in writing, to be addressed. Last contact was Nov 7, 2022, no response after asking what would be the time frame for repairs and resolution of drainage issues. Every time it rains our yard becomes a river from water off ****** Lane. Our front stoop is unlevel and the 4 x 4 holding up the roof portion has twisted.
