We bought our ** brand new from Wehr RVs last year. They told us it had a 5 year warranty. Not only that but be dropped out rv off there a few weeks ago and told them specifically we were dropping it off for warranty repairs and a part that had been recalled by the manufacturer. One of the parts had to be shipped and wehr rvs was unwilling to keep our ** while it shipped. So much misinformation was given. one person called and said the part would be in two days the next day someone calls and asks me to pick the rv up because the part wont be in for four weeks. Well, we go pick our ** up and they tell us the rv is not under warranty and we would need to pay for repairs. Should that not have been said upfront when we were dropping the ** off? After much argument they finally agree to wave the fee for repairs. My point is they need to be honoring the warranty their sales people are stating the ** has. We specifically bought a new ** and not a used one for the five year warranty so I know Im not confused as to what was pitched to me when we bought the rv. I will never buy an ** from them again and I wont be recommending them.

Im the General Manager/Owner of Wehr RVs.  To address the five year warranty that ************** is stating she was told.  Her husband came in to pick up trailer and he stated he was told it had a ten year warranty.  I told him he was out of warranty in February.  Mean while his wife calls in to another manager and states she was told it had a five year warranty.  It is widely known in the ** industry that the longest manufacture warranty is 2 years by *****.  They bought an Open Range which is a one year manufacture warranty.  I have three salesmen that have worked for me for four to five years and I know their character well.  None of the three would ever tell this kind of lie because it would mean immediate termination.

I dealt with this situation personally when ************* came in and I waived his ticket, which was $ ****** for a replaced blind and door latch not covered.  They also had a torn awning which is covered by a recall and would be no charge.  The awning can take two to three weeks because it ships directly from manufacture. Also to address ************** wanting to leave the trailer and this he said she said.  I personally called and told her we needed her to pick up over a week and half ago.  She stated "we are selling our house and just want to leave it there".  We have a very small parking lot and can not just store units for customers.

If there was miscommunication about her warranty it was dealt with by taking care of her ticket.  As for the recall maybe she should seek another dealer to take care of this problem.  She can try *********** or ********.
