    We purchased a transmission from Ace transmission over three years ago with a three year warranty on it. Throughout the warranty period, there was an issue with the transmission slipping, and every time we brought it in, they would fix it for a little bit, but it went right back to doing it. They always said the bands needed to be tightened, but now that that it's out of warranty, they won't service it anymore, and we have brought it to a couple other transmission shops who told us that transmission doesn't even have bands at all. Our position is the rather than truly warrantying the sub-par transmission they sold us, they have limped it along to get out of the warranty.

    I have received and looked over your complaint and I am sorry to hear that you feel this way about our business. After looking into past work we have done for you, it looks like we have repaired a couple of vehicles for you but we have no history in our systems of you purchasing a transmission from us with that warranty. It also appears that several times one of your trucks was here that is was something unrelated to the transmission or an external part from the transmission that was causing your issues.     I had the truck towed to Ace on 7-17-23. It has been over 2 months and my truck is still not fixed. They keep telling me they are testing, I don’t have any confidence in the shop!!! They act like no big deal. My truck is a tool for my survival. I need my truck!

    They have had my Ram 1500 2007 since 03/27/2023. To rebuild or replace my transmission. When I first called back in March I was told that they would not be able to look at my truck until 04/03/2023. So, they called eventually. They informed me that they were going to rebuild the transmission, and then they were going to replace the transmission with a rebuilt transmission from their factory. The next time I called they stated that they were waiting on the transmission from the other side of town, and they were suppose to call back and they never did. I called on the 04/11/2023 and they stated that the work would be done on Wednesday 04/12/2023. They have not called me back. I would like my truck back fixed or not fixed.

    I'm sorry that our timeline for the repair of your Dodge Ram 1500 took longer than was expected, I have talked to you multiple times through this process and tried to keep  you informed on what was going on. I want you to have your vehicle back as quickly as possible. Your transmission was having pressure issues as I have let you know,  We do now have the transmission  in our possession  as of today 4/20/2023 and it will be installed today as I informed you yesterday. I will be delivering your Dodge Ram back to you as promised. We appreciate you as a customer and want you to be happy with the product that we promised you.
