The business is in the tree removal business. They came on April 27 and removed 5 trees at a price of 3,200 dollars. I had decorative blocks around every tree and I told the tree workers to just put the blocks by the bench in front yard around the bench by the driveway and the blocks in back of the house on the patio. The workmen put 5 blocks on the back patio. the rest were thrown all over the yard every where there were 50 blocks. I ask that the tar paper under the blocks be folded and place with the blocks. the tar paper was thrown every where all over the yard. The yard looked like a battlefield a total mess. I ask the men as they were leaving what happens now and they said they would be back so I dismissed the mess for now. I waited and waited for two weeks. I didn't hear back from ***** ****.(worker for the tree company) . I had no reason to believe they were coming back. I called a stump grinder and a landscaper company they came out an picked all the blocks and used them to landscape the yard. I couldn't mow the yard until the landscaper cleaned the yard of all the blocks. I had the stump grinder grind the stumps and use the mulch to put in the ruts that were made by the T&F tree company. My complaint is that the company didn't try to help me at all. The came back 6 weeks after they had messed the yard up. A stump grinder came from the company on the 6th week and started grinding the stump in the back yard and I said the work is already done and he said I could see that there was nothing to be done. He said he could smooth out the huge pile of dirt if I wanted him to. I said no I would call a landscaper to get it done right. I called a landscaper and told him to use the dirt that was messed up to fill in the ruts left in the yard. I paid 1,800 dollars to get the yard cleaned up after the T&F lawn/tree company messed it up. I paid the T&F Tree/Lawn service 2,100 dollars for their work and they wanted 3,200 dollars for their work. I told them of the mess that they left and that what I paid was fair. They said if the full amount wasn't paid they would attach a lean of My property until the full amount was paid. I said I would pay the amount left and I wanted them to pay me 1,800 dollars for having fix the mess they left and refused to fix. I told them I had signed no contracts or invoices or endorsed or approved any of the work done. I want the 1,800 dollars I pay extra for damages done by the T&F lawn/Tree service.

Thank You for the Check and the Letter.
In Response to your letter. We did not charge anything for moving the Landscaping blocks away from the Trees so we could Grind the Stumps. We left the blocks in the backyard. We were not told you wanted the blocks in any particular place. We were there to Remove trees and Grind stumps.
The details of the events are documented with Pictures we took the day we gave you the estimate and pictures taken after the work was completed. We have before and after pictures to back up the communications with you. We also have the call History, Text History and Email communication history.

You called our office on March 20th  2023 and spoke with ***** asking for an estimate on trimming some bushes, Trimming or Taking out some Trees and a Mowing quote.
***** arrived on the following day on March 21st 2023 at 1:01 pm. Took Pictures of the Trees & landscaping and sent the estimates along with the pictures to your # ###-###-####.
On March 25th 2023 you Texted “ when can you get the Trees cut down” I replied “ We are 3 weeks out” You replied with “ I had hoped you could get the job done Right away, I want them gone Yesterday ! “
I replied saying I would call the job we had scheduled for Monday and see if I  could push them back. I was able to and let you know an hour later. You then said “OK” We obtained your email address and set it for Monday the 26th of March.  We came to grind the Stump in the Front. We did not grind the stumps in the back at that time. Later returned to grind the Stumps in the back and noticed they were already done by someone else. I let you know that, You then informed me you had a landscaper do it and do something with the blocks that we did not charge anything for.
There was not a single call, Text, Email from you saying you were unhappy with anything Until after you had hired someone on your own to do additional work in which we did not charge for.
I removed the stump charges from the invoice and sent it over to you. As far as the mound of grindings from the front stump we did grind. It clearly stated on your estimate you agreed to that we do not remove them or put new topsoil, seed & straw down unless asked to and the additional charge was listed if you opted to have that done.
You sent us the letter along with a partial check in the amount of $ 2,100.00 Dated July 1st 2023 Check # ****. We have Deposited it and applied it to your bill. There is a remaining balance of $ 1,100.00 That is still remaining. It is not and will not be written off as these are charges that you agreed to and is for work that has been performed on & at your property. The $1,100.00 is not for any work not performed by us. All work that was not performed by us has been removed from the invoice.
