      I've been getting my taxes done here for 18 years. I filed my taxes and paid the accountant in 2019. In 2020 I received a letter from the *** that my taxes weren't completed. Premier Business Services asked me to send them the letter and also told me to contact the *** myself. After this I never heard back from Premiere Business. I've contacted every month since then. They told me to be patient and that the government was just behind. I even wrote a letter about the situation. Since then I've spent 62 hours with the *** and calling the office trying to find out what's wrong. The *** said they never received my taxes. So I refiled my income taxes myself. Then I received a letter from the *** stating I owe a $3,000 difference then what the accountant told me. I'm also now being charged interest. The receptionist won't allow me to talk to the accountant, nor will the accountant take an appointment.

      The customer requested an extension.The customer was informed that filing an extension does not extend the time for paying the liability and that the *** will assess a late payment penalty and interest. The return was filed timely under the extension. The customer received a bill from the *** indicating the tax liability due plus late payment penalty and interest charges. The customer cannot understand that this is what was explained and that the ***, as any other financial entity would, charges late fees and interest for failure to pay taxes timely. This has been explained in 2020, 2021, 2022 and now in 2023. The customer continues to not seem to understand this process of the ***. We have explained this to her on numerous occasions in as great a detail as possible. This customer does not understand that taxes are due and payable on or about April 15 every year and will not accept that filing an extension does not extend the amount of time to pay taxes, just file taxes. We efiled the tax return timely, have shown the efile receipt and acceptance of the ***. We cannot affect *** processes for acceptance.
