I have been going through Andrew Broombaugh State Farm for over 3 years for car insurance.I was auto paying monthly with a Credit Card, but the card information was stolen so I had to cancel the Credit Card.I used the State Farm website to setup auto pay from a Checking Account I have with ************ to pay going forward.4 out of the last 8 months I was sent automated text messages saying my payments didn't go though and the old disabled stolen credit card was charged instead of the Checking Account I setup.Every time I went to their website or phone app my account would show the Checking Account was setup correctly for auto pay as the default option. The other 4 months I didnt get the text notifications the payments were automatically deducted from my Checking Account by ******************** Farm with late fees included no problem.I called their office and spoke with ***** to address this.Within ******************************************************************* off and explain things away. She explained how their website is working as intended and it was my fault for not contacting them sooner to fix this.I explained how I have been working in IT for over 10 years so I know my way around computers and navigating websites and that their website was telling me everything was setup fine on my end so why would this happen. She described how customers are supposed to contact agents to change auto pay options and I rebutted with asking why there is an option on their website for customers to do it themselves if it doesnt work. There is not even a note on their website saying to contact an agent for all auto pay changes.8 months should have cost me $829.36 but they ended up auto withdrawing $994.46.When I brought this up to ***** she explained how I also owed $356.99 in backed late fees for a grand total of $522.33 in *************** the point I told ***** to terminate my business with them and if they bothered me asking for any more money I would get a lawyer involved.

I am very sorry for your frustration. I cannot discuss specific numbers due to privacy reasons, but the premiums listed above are incorrect. If you'd like to call the office, I'd be happy to go over everything in detail. I can assure you this could have been resolved much sooner with a call, email or text back to our office. We have tried to reach out to you numerous times about billing. I apologize for the trouble State Farm's online service caused here; however, I do not have any say in that site or any of its functions unfortunately.
