On May 7, 2024 I had a power outage and my generator didn't turn on. I called Spark Daddy for a service call. I was told that the service call would be $75.00. The service tech was at my home for about an hour. Stated it needed a part that he didn't have on the truck. He would have to order the part, would figure out an estimate and let me know. He then is trying to sell me a maintenance plan for $575, which I clearly told him I wasn't interested in. He charged $457.00 for this. When I questioned the amount, he said the extra was for putting it on the computer. I discovered he had lost the fuse to the generator and didn't replace it. The next day he called with the estimate of $3,700, which included the maintenance plan (that I didn't want). I called ******* and spoke to them about putting the generator on a computer and was told that not how their generator works. I've contacted this business about this. His offer of doing maintenance once for 1/2 off is unacceptable. I don't trust him to work on it. He did send a fuse, after I requested it. I got a second opinion. Turns out it was the control panel, not what Spark Daddy said! It cost $1,153.

We are doing everything possible to work everything out with the client. It is our desire for them to be happy with the service that we provided. That's why we attempted to offer a maintenance for the generator. I am attaching a signed estimate that authorized our company to move forward with the diagnostic. We get this signature before me move forward with any work. All tasks that we complete for the customer are talked about upfront so that they are not caught off guard. I also am attaching a signed invoice stating that all work was completed in a satisfactory manner and that they had the opportunity to bring up any concerns. It also states that if they had concerns that those concerns were addressed and resolved. I am also attaching a call log from Generac that shows the notes from the support call that we placed with them. In the notes you will see that the repairs that were quoted to the client were outlined by Generac. We believe that once you see everything that we have you will agree that significant effort was made to take care of all of the clients needs. Having all of that said, we still want to take care of the client. We are not turning them away.

Please see proof that the customers $79  check was returned. She has been intentionally difficult to reach throughout this process to try and resolve. I finally took the check to her residence and left it in the mailbox.
