    Date of transaction: 5/28/2024 amount of money paid: $300 of a $500 **** They said to drop it off and they would look at it to see if it could be fixed because it is so old.The dispute is: After dropping the golf cart off, they called me, left a message and said after going over the golf cart it can't be fixed because they cannot find parts and that I owed $180.00 for the assessment. I called back and told them that's fine just leave it as it is that I would come in and pay the $180 and pick it up. When I went to pick it up she told me I owed $500 that they got it running. I then told her that I left a message not to work on it, just leave it alone that I would come in and pay the $180.00. She said she didn't get the message. In our initial conversation I was also told that if it could be fixed they would notify me of the problem and give me an estimate on the repair and I did not receive that call nor did I sign any work authorization. They took it upon themselves to put a new battery in at $108, which it did not need. They put new gas, new oil, and a new solenoid. Those parts totaled $100. I told her I would agree to pay $300 of the $500 and see how it ran and make payments on the remaining $200. This is why I told them not to fix it after I found out it was $180 and could not be repaired. After getting the golf cart home it stopped running and hasn't ran since. I called ******************************* in regards to the $200 balance and told her that the golf cart did not run after I had told them not to work on it and they worked on it anyway, that I did not feel I was responsible for the remaining $200 that I planned on filing with the BBB and her response was I will just take you to court and she hung up on me.
