    So I took scrap metal to be scrapped today at which point in time I received well under a quarter of market value whereas if I were to have gone 15 miles in the opposite direction I would have received a more reasonable fare and just pricing closer to market value today alone the deficit was approximately $140

    We have been in contact w/ complainant trying to understand the problem.  Complainant was very combative and states that he could've sold his scrap metal for more money at a different company for more money and that we were "ripping him off".  The other company that he's referring to is 27 miles from our location and while they do pay a higher rate it is because they are a large corporation out of ************** and can do so where as we're a small business w/ no other locations.  The complainant did not call ahead to our office to determine our pricing nor did he mention his displeasure when our desk attendant checked him out.  We came to no resolution over the phone as our office had paid him correctly according to our rates.  While we would've loved to have resolved the issue w/ the customer he was paid out correctly according to our rates.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:
    Yes they did reach out to me but upon doing so admitted that there must have been a error that the numbers didn't make sense. Then when I thought we had reached a understanding and I was going to go up there to receive the compensation of difference got a call from them stating the difference was  basically insignificant and would not honor the difference. These people have done this multiple times and we have complained in person before to the point we had them return the scrap and took it elsewhere. This company doesn't not honor fair pricing and I will not return nor will promote this business to anyone i associate with, but suggest that people not do business with them at all and refer the better company.
