5 starsI had a great experience with Beis Plumbing LLC. The problem was fixed for less than originally estimated and the plumber fixed a couple of other issues I had in other rooms for no charge while at my house. Today, I received a phone call from Beis asking if I was happy with the service done and the plumber, which I was. Thank you.Review fromPatti R

1 starDO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER! We called for an estimate to tighten a loose faucet on our bathroom ****, **** came out to the house to evaluate. The faucet was minimally loose, NOT LEAKING AT ALL, STILL IN PERFECTLY USABLE CONDITION BEFORE **** ARRIVED.**** BROKE THE FAUCET AND LEFT IT COMPLETELY USELESS, with water running down the sink, pipes, and walls!!! His solution was for us to put a bucket under the pipes, which HE PLACED HIMSELF! Under a pipe with NO LEAK PRIOR TO HIS ARRIVAL!!!He denied any previous water damage done to the floors or walls and said it was NOT leaking before he tried to tighten it. Now my hardwood floors are ruined, my walls are ruined, and I'm left with a bucket under my sink. And a USELESS SINK!!!The company denies any responsibility and to top it off, added $400 to the quote to come back to fix what they broke after already paying **** $100.00 to BREAK IT!When a plumber's solution is to put a bucket under what they BROKE... charge you... then up the quote to fix what they damaged it's absurd!! Definitely reporting to BBB and my attorney!NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!Review fromKATHERINE S

1 starTerrible customer service, hot water heater installation incorrect, resulting in corrosion and damaging leaking. When called to look at, inspect, Beis did not honor appt times, then quoted a price and did not stand by their work. Estimates and photos from 2 other licensed plumbing companies to verify original installation incorrect. When we questioned Beis about this, the new estimate was pulled and representative hung up on me. We send a demand letter to cover cost we incurred from another plumber to correct Beis work, that was ignored. We are going to pursue through legal action.Review fromRonald and Karen F

1 starOur review of Beis Plumbing. We hired Beis Plumbing to remove the old cast Iron and replace with PVC. We removed the concrete and dirt to expose the sewer pipe. We requested a functioning bathroom in the basement, up to code and a new bathroom upstairs. We supplied all the fixtures and demoed the upstairs bathroom. Our issues are:
Beis plumbing removed the cast iron and replaced it with PVC. They were not deburred on the inside or outside of each piece of PVC pipe.
Per their contract, they were to backfill with rock before pouring the concrete. They breeched the contract by only using dirt.
The concrete was uneven and did not take into account the drain in the basement shower. We had to chip out the concrete in order to install the basement shower drain - a breech of contract.
The plumber had to shim the basement toilet to get it to be level due to the poor concrete job.
The basement sink drain had to be redone due to no dry fitting and the plumber just kept adding pieces to get it to work. It was over 2 inches out of alignment.
They replaced our water heater and connected the vent and the water but wanted to charge additional for hooking up the gas. We refused and hooked it up ourselves - breach of contract.
Per code, no Stand Pipe Test was performed.
The upstairs bathroom issues are:
The plumber broke off one screw in the recessed shower wall valve base. He had no idea how to get it out and the screws had to be reordered from Canada and took a week. We removed the screw and finished the install when the screw arrived.
The stationary shower head was not properly installed and is now leaking behind the shower head.
When you run the hot water faucet on the pedestal sink to fill the basin, the pipes audibly fibrate in the wall.
The communication with our field manager and Beis Plumbing office was less than desired, lacking honesty and integrity. Our dream project was hell. I hope people will think twice after reading this review.Review fromSean T

1 starQuoted me $95 to inspect issue, then changed estimate to $165, and then quoted me $390 for the "task" before they even showed up to take a look. Complete scam company, also lying about being rated A+ by the BBB when you can see here for yourself that they are not an A+Review fromJohn B

1 starHad sewer backup week of thanksgiving, called Beis to come out and open the sewer they worked on it for 2 hours broke the cable off in the outside clean out. Told me to call **************** for the lateral sewer line that they would fix it. The county sent me the forms to fill out, an have Beis fill out their portions. His portion was not filled right the county wanted video of the sewer line. Beis said that they could not get a camera in the line. I asked them if they would call the county and speak with them. They refused. The manager would not return our phone calls. After talking with the county I was able to get the line fixed after a week and a half. I will not use this company again.Review fromLea Z

1 starI'm grieved to share that after reading so many stellar reviews, I had the most irritating experience with this company. I paid to have a tech come out and provide a quote for plumbing work at my property. The tech came out and charged me $95 for a quote that I never received. I called in multiple times over the course of 3 weeks and was told that a quote would be out to me within the day, and (on my third attempt) within ***** hours. I received a standard welcome email from Beis, but that was all. I finally had my husband call in for a refund, and he was transferred to management immediately. The manager was instantly defensive and refused to provide us with a refund, stating that they left us a voicemail (the number they had was so completely wrong that it must have been from some other file). They also refused to release the quote to us. To say I am baffled and annoyed by the extreme lack of organization and follow-up from Beis would be an understatement. Please, do better.Review fromWill G

1 starBeis did my whole home plumbing when I built new 5 years ago and I would have recommended them to anyone. They provided quality work at a fair price. Over time, the company has grown to the size where they seem to have forgotten their roots. From unpleasant and rude service managers, to performing work without any sort of documentation or approval by the homeowner, to upcharges without consent, to charging rates that are not even realistic and threatening to get sent to collections for questioning their pricing. There seems to be no lines they aren't willing to cross to make a buck.I tried reconciling with the company after their very poor business practices but their stance is clear, money over customer satisfaction or even good business etiquette for that matter. Whether the homeowner approves the work or not, whether the work is needed or not, whether the pricing is fair or not, they will authorize themselves to do the work and they will threaten the customer by sending them to collections for questioning their absurd pricing. Shame on me for not getting a written quote before they completed the work, but also shame on Beis, the "professionals" for not getting any signed authorization before starting the work and intimidating customers into paying without any explanations of why.The company started off as good as they come from a customer satisfaction standpoint, but sadly has let greed blur their vision of what it means to provide quality service at a fair price to a homeowner. Beis has burned their bridge with me and will never touch another project myself, or anyone I know has in the future. No customer should have to rework what a "professional" company supposedly fixes. I warn any and all future customers, please consider taking business elsewhere as the future for this company looks very grim.Beis Plumbing, LLC

We would love to upload the emergency text messages with full authorization of work, the addition of work on site, and note the dropped calls to make this customer priority as they had no water and a flooded home! The Customer thought in his words, the work would be covered by insurance, it was not, it was only then that he was upset about his bill! This customer did not get other quotes, has no idea the cost of this scope of work, of the on site discount he received for the multiple items repaired for him!Review fromSheila N

1 starI recently used this company and it will be my last! When I use my shower and/or bathtub water leaks into my basement. The plumber diagnosis the problem as overflow problem and removed the piping and replaced it was PVC. For the 2 hour service to replace the piping the charge was $789; which in my opinion is a ridiculous amount to charge for this service but because I wanted the leak resolved I paid that amount. The next day I took a shower and had a leak which it was the same amount of water as before. I had my father look at it and he was able to diagnosis the problem as a calking problem from the corner of the tub. I called the company about my concerns and she told me that he can come back but it would be other service charge!! I am out $789 and still have a leak!Beis Plumbing, LLC

When we were on site for the leak, *********** diagnosed that the overflow was in fact leaking and contributing to the leak you were having. He gave his estimate on site and got your signature for approval. He did the work for replacement, tested again from the shower and tub spout and found no leaks. We do not get in the tub to test which could be the cause of water reaching the corner bead of caulk when you were showering. We offered to come back out and see if there was an issue with our work or if there was another area that was leaking. If there was something outside the realm of what we repaired a cost would incur for any additional work. I hope this clears things up about our procedure.Review fromCraig L

5 starsFirst time using Beis Plumbing and so happy with them. Called about plumbing for a new sink and they scheduled us and sent a bid right away. Their customer service was great. ****, the plumber they sent was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, explained what needed to be done and accomplished it in a timely and clean manner. I would highly recommend them.
