    I have consistently ordered compost from St. Louis composting for several years for my urban farm business. The last few times Ive ordered compost it has been heavily littered with trash. Early on when I have ordered compost from them the lady that I usually spoke with I have emphasized that I only wanted compost from the ********** location. This is for several reasons. One is because of the driver and the quality of the compost. One most of the drivers are rude and when asking them to bring the compost all the way on our farm site they give myself and others a hard time. Ive noticed and other urban farmers have also noticed the quality of the compost at other sites outside of the ***************** location have not been the same. I get a call before the ***************** location is even open stating that I was being delivered compost. This is odd because again they are even open yet. I call the number back and speak with someone and find out the compost isnt coming from the ***************** location. I state I will wait until the ***************** location has compost to get compost to my site. I was told and I quote When the order was put in they didnt let you know they were out of compost. I was told I was going to be charged a delivery or redelivery fee for not wanting the compost that wasnt coming from the ***************** location.

    Thank you for your feedbackwere very sorry this delivery didnt meet your expectations.
    All compost from our locations is held to the same quality standards, and deliveries are dispatched through our headquarters to ensure consistency. That said, we understand your concern and have added a note to your account to help us better accommodate your preference for the ***************** location when possible in the future.
    We issued a full refund for the compost and a half refund for the delivery when you contacted us at the time of delivery. Because the truck was already dispatched, we needed to retain part of the delivery fee to cover driver costs.
    We also want to clarify that, for safety reasons, our drivers must stay on paved surfaces and are not allowed to take risks that could damage your property or our trucks.
    Wed be happy to talk more if you believe there was an issue with product qualitywe take those concerns seriously and want to make it right.
