On March 21, 2025, I made a reservation via the **** platform ID: ********* for May 22-May 26th 2025. The host, ***** ******* confirmed with me via text on May 20th that I was booked and ready to go and that I would receive a check in code the day of arrival. However, on May 22nd as I was enroute to this booking, he chose to claim that he accidentally double booked the property and that I now needed to find other accommodations. I was given **** support's number and told they could assist me. Rather, I had to pull over off the interstate and sit on a 30 minute hold for them to tell me really all they could is refund my initial payment and in the meantime while I had to wait for that to come through, I was responsible for finding my own new accommodations and submit for a up to 50% difference reimbursement claim. I was able to find another property, reservation ************** to check into that day. Per their email attached, I was covered and eligible for a refund of up to $771.84 on this new booking. They are now telling me that I not eligible for reimbursement due to the booking being made 24 hours before check in time. This is completely outrageous, deceptive, unfair, and not even outlined in the terms and conditions: ***************************************

On Feb *******, I booked and paid for a reservation through Affirm for a VRBO home in the amount of $2,793 for a 5 bedroom home in ****, **. On 3/11/25 I received a refund in the amount of $2,524 to Affirm. I sent a message to the host confirming I still had the reservation. She stated "yes I did, I just had to complete the payment." Which I had already paid **** directly. So, I contacted **** and found out the host only takes payments directly to a 3rd party, which I would not do and they were not able to accept payments from **** and the reservation was canceled. Their cancelation policy states that I am due a 100% refund which includes $269. This has been going on since 3/11 and they continue to refuse to refund my $269. This is a horrid company and I have contacted them many times. I have filed a claim also with ****** to try and get my money back that way as well.
