I brought my vehicle here for an oil change and to repair some lights and they came back and told me my motor needed to be rebuilt. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle when I brought it to them initially but I agreed to have the motor rebuilt for $6,145. They kept my vehicle for 5 months and when I go pick it up, as soon as I started it the motor blew up while still in the shop and now they&#**;re unwilling to fix it or replace it.

Mr ********** brought his newly purchased truck to our shop. He requested that we perform an oil change on the truck. When we removed the drain plug, a large piece of debris fell out of the oil pan. We identified the debris as one of the crankshaft thrust bearings. We contacted Mr ********** and advised him of what we found. At that point, he requested that we remove the oil pan for a thorough inspection. We removed the oil pan as requested and inspected the lower engine. We found the one thrust bearing missing and the engine block damage. At that point we advised Mr ********** of our findings and recommended a replacement engine/block. We did not hear anything from Mr ********** for a number of weeks. He told us that he understands the engine/block is damaged but is declining the proper repairs and simply wants it reassembled. We reassembled it with a new thrust bearing but advised him that because of the damage, the engine will not run long. Mr ********** also signed a Waiver(attached) stating that there is no warranty and the customer assumes all responsibility. The total invoice for the engine work was $1,746.08 (attached). However, due to the unfortunate events  we are happy to offered Mr ********** a full refund for engine work.

I took my truck their for service in September 26, 2024 for service. I request for them to perform a oil change, and replace light bulbs. After three weeks of the truck being in the shop they called me and told me it would be $1486.00. However, when I went to pick up the truck $3290.00. I asked him to provide me detail information as to why the bill had double from was quoted to me over phone . ***** the manager ask me to come and follow him to the back of the building and then he show me my truck and told he that my truck motor needed to be replace. I had them to rebuild the motor. I finally got my truck back on Jan 27, 2025. I paid them $6130.00 for the work done. When I pickup the truck I ask ***** to come out and show me all the work he did on my truck. Once I started the truck it was knocking, and making loud noises, with the oil light coming on. Once, I got on the highway the engine lock up. The owner came out and pickup my truck and towed it back to their shop. Once the truck was in the shop they I received a call from them I got a call from the shop and they told me that my motor is lock up. I had Champion towing to pickup my truck and take it to another shop-(********* Diesel Shop) for repair as I didn't trust this shop anymore. I by (********* Diesel) that the (Garber shop) hadn't hook up the oil tube into the oil pan that cause my engine to lock up after I paid this shop over $6100,00. ********* Diesel called Garber Shop and told them it was their fault my engine blow up. I would like a total refund of $20000 that I spend trying to get this truck up and running, towing, and the time my truck was down.
