    Worked on scope of project with Martin Metal for a few months. We did our research and due diligence. Our effort started by visiting Martin Metal. All looked professional and satisfactory. We were impressed. Ordered materials and waited ten weeks for delivery. Upon delivery of the standing seam roof materials, damage and neglect was found. The materials were delayed in delivery due to their waiting on parts they had to special ordered. During the wait, the roofing was left out in the elements. The protective film was loose or missing when it arrived. Panels were bent and scratched. Rust was found. In addition, many of the components ordered were not delivered.Rather than making an effort to rectify the problems, Martin Metal decided to quit and take back the materials. They decided they could not do any better. Instead, it was best to take back the materials. It was surprising. But, we agreed that if they could not do better we did not want to keep the roofing material.They sent a crew to pick up the materials. We made it easy for them to remove the roofing materials from our indoor, out of the elements storage. We even helped in the process. The crew was rude by cursing, never said thank you and handled the materials rough and hastily. They claimed the materials were headed to a dump site.It is evident that Martin Metal does not abide by best practices. They make it clear in their documentation that the customer is obligated to practice best measurement, planning, storage and installation practices, but they dont exercise the same. It is on us if we dont, but not on them if they dont. They have a double standard.All things work out for the best. We have found ************************.
