      The company replaced a water heater on 10/27/22. On 4/7/25, i noted corrosion on the supply side of the water heater and called the company, as the water heater was too new to corrode so soon. on 4/17/25 *** from Heggemann came out and replaced the piping that was corroded. He said it was a "manufacturing error" and needed more threading. He said, This is too new to happen. He made the repairs said it shouldnt corrode again as he made more threading and deeper grooves. He said, Since this was just replaced recently, there is no charge, it's only been 2 years. He gave me no bill or receipt. On 5/9/25 I received a bill from Heggemann in the amount of $367.27 and to pay now. I sent a letter explaining that the technician said there was no charge because it was a manufacturing error. I received no response to my letter but did receive an overdue notice. I called and spoke with an employee named *******, who was extremely rude and refused to remove the charges. I asked to speak to either the manager or the owner and she told me she was both. I know now that she is neither. Since the water heater is too new to have corroded the way it did, and the fact that *** the technician told me there would be no charge, I dont believe I should have to pay anything.

      Thank you so much for your help!  The company removed the invoice charge, and rightfully so, since the water heater was still under warranty.  I appreciate all your help!  Ginny Meiners-Schulz
