    Absolute garbage. I ordered from their site: a beautiful piece of wood. We exchanged emails on the checkering; originally, I wanted none, but after some discussion we settled on very minimal checkering and done in the very fine-line style. I sent them drawing of exactly what I wanted. They agreed. The gun had been my Dad's, he had always hated the stock, so having this done was HUGELY important to me.When it finally came in, I was horrified. They ignored all my decisions, put standard checkering in all the places I didn't want: just a really ugly job that ruined the look of the gun, made it very cheap-looking, almost like machine checkering from a second-rate manufacturer.Called them and left them a message, and also sent them an email. They ignored both and I never heard from them. The gun went in the cabinet and hasn't been out since. Every time I look at it I get angry: not just because they screwed up but because they won't respond or stand up for what they did. In fact, I wanted the original stock back. Nope. No idea where that went, as they never returned it.On the good side I never hesitate to bad-mouth them, and I know I've cost them business - one man in particular was just about to place an order then actually came to the house to see the horrible thing I paid SOOOO much for. He called ******* the next day and paid a bit more but unlike mine, his is beautiful. I've talked at gun shows with people who were considering them; after a chat with me they all spent their money elsewhere. One man who didn't later said he wished he had listened to me. In his case it wasn't like mine, a total s**** up. It wasn't really anything they did; it's just that it didn't end the gun just didn't look very good.DON'T DEAL WITH MACON. YOU WILL BE SORRY. They WILL s**** up and ignore you once they do. Never deal with anyone that won't back their work.
