    Date: Sept 2022
Amount we paid the business for each service call (about $300) before replacing the unit.
They replaced our air conditioning unit. The unit costed $2557.88 (paid in full on 4/12/22).
They are trying to bill us months later for "misc installation fees" of $250 with no detail.
We have asked for a detailed breakdown of what these fees entail, considering they are separate from the bill we already paid to them in full months at the time of service. I would just like to know why I'm being billed and what for, before I just pay something that came months later with no explanation. We've contacted them multiple times and they can't provide an explanation for the "misc" charges but still keep sending us invoices.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/13/2023

****** has been issued 2 updated invoices,  one sent on January 2nd 2023 and another sent on February 17th 2023 with the additional information she requested. We provided an explanation of what the miscellaneous charges were for. I would also like to address a couple other claims that she states in her complaint,  that are not correct. We, Gradel Heating and Cooling, did not replace her equipment, and we did not receive a check for $2557.88. We provided her with 2 bids for 2 separate hvac replacements and they did not use our company to replace. Instead, they hired her brother, who worked for us at the time, and one of our service techs to do the job on the side, on their own time, not through our company. I assume they used one of our suppliers to purchase the equipment, but I'm sure. I don't know for certain who they paid the $2557.88,  but it was not us, as she states in her complaint. Gradel Heating and Cooling did not do the new install for Aubrey, however her brother did use our shop, materials, supplies, parts, truck supplies, etc to complete the job. For that we are charging a mere $250 to try to recoup some of the costs for the miscellaneous items listed on the updated invoices sent in January and February. I will be sending a separate email with documentation.
    Thanks-****** ******
    Gradel Heating and Cooling
P.S.-  I have tried to reach out to ****** and have left her 2 messages to call me back and have not heard back from her.
