    I wish I could put negative stars. DO NOT GET WARRANTY WITH THIS COMPANY!! They would not honor my claim even though I had all of the necessary paperwork and data provided to them from a licensed **** dealer. They do not care about you as a person, nor do they care about your time. I spent over a week trying to communicate and provide every little detail they could possibly want and they still ended up denying the claim. I tried over and over to find out why they denied the claim and nobody in any of the departments could give me a straight answer. The people in the claims department sent me over to the customer service department and back and forth for several days with no explanation as if it was some sort of game/joke. Take your business elsewhere because this company and all of the people within the company ***********. This company belongs in the trash. Hands down the WORST experience and customer service I've ever had in my entire life.

    SCAM! SCAM! This company should be closed and out of business. Stealing from hard and honest working people. I’ve been paying for over a year $200.00 monthly and the first time I tried to file a claim on 3/24/3025 it was denied. They found a loophole to avoid paying for repairs. Even the BMW dealership agreed they’ve never heard of an excuse for denial so BOGUS like the one they provided. Most of the reviews online suggest the same thing . SCAM! They deny claims and have no intentions of paying.

    I bought a extended for my used ******* Santa Fe because my engine was broken and they found a loophole so they don't have to pay for a new one so not only are they a terrible company, they don't honor their agreements so if you are looking for a good insurance company, don't choose this one, and their customer service is terrible, for instance when you call them to get an explanation on a problem they have an attitude. Both ******* Santa Fe and Merit was giving me the run around. Hopefully the plan is to take them to court and get my money back.

    Today I received in the mail a notification that stated, "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your coverage activated. , . . ." There was absolutely NO mention of the name of this company in the top heading of the "official looking" letter, which was puzzling, so I called the toll free number and asked an operator about the name of this company which is called MERIT. Wow is their service expensive! Well, I suppose if you want to pay a whole lot money in monthly premiums for roadside service and auto repairs in a vehicle which has very little resale value, you are free to do it. My mechanic recommended that when my 2013 **** Focus' drivetrain, transmission or engine breaks down, it would be better to dump the car and buy a better one.LET THE ***** BEWARE!!!If there are any "merits" to subscribing to this service, I might have considered it rather than getting a BAD impression of it when I talked with the somewhat smug and condescending attitude of the customer care/ sales agent when I inquired about the name of the company. My negative impression from this initial phone call caused me to became VERY SUSPICIOUS about whether or not it was legitimate auto servicing and repair company. Reading other negative reviews here is not surprising. Therefore, I recommend that anyone who wants an extended warranty contract shop around and find something with great reviews and courteous telephone operators!!! To all of you reading this, you have been forewarned!!!

    My first time in my life that I put a claim in fomy truck and speaking to 2 or three so called professional were very rude !! The first time I called and spoke to a lady who was very nasty and to had to called back and she answer the phone wish I could have hang up but I was raised to be very professional when speaking to other adults especially when dealing business . Some parts and other parts had nothing to do with oil in my truck being changed every **** miles that i do myself !! I know didnt want to pay for any if not all but took my $177 a month for a year. So hope others dont have to purchase a warranty from these people !!!!! very rude !!! one lady mocked me after voicing disgust.. I cancel ASAP and Im sure they must have gotten a raise by saving not to pay out !! So my truck is at my mechanic shop sitting without authorization so dont trust these people buying a warranty and they are not telling you everything you need to know !!! stay away!!

    The worst people I have ever spoken to, there is a difference between PERSISTENCE and HARASSMENT, they kept my 80yr. Old grandmother on the phone for almost an hour, giving her every excuse in the book and more to NOT cancel her plan. Once I asked her what she was doing on the phone for so long, the representative told her to tell me to "SHUT UP" SO HE CAN CONTINUE TO HARASS HER. Absolutely unacceptable. This isn't the first time they have been rude and nearly verbally abusive to my grandmother. It's so scary for our elderly to be threatened and abused like this. I am furious. Please do not trust this company, they do not care about their customers they only want your money. I wish i could leave a negative star.
