    Hired for 2 jobs. First job was not finished. 2nd job was paid 3,500. dollars and all that was done was a trench dug.

    I have contract. Paid $10,900 for new roof. Been months and have contacted time after time..always next week. Now says does not have my funds to pay me back. I have recent emails, two canceled check (one for up front cost and one where he came cack and stated materials would run bit over and would need rest up front to complete). I simply want my funds returned. Please assist me. Contract signed and checking #*** $4000. Check on 12/17/2022, second requested and given as payment in full and guarantee of completition in two weeks in amount check # 517 $6,900. Total $10,900 and roof is now leaking as he stated it would shortly. Check, #

    It was a roof order we took last spring. We took her down payment and a month ago I got another down payment and we sent crews out to put the roof on and it poured down rain and she said she wanted to cancel the contract because of the amount of time it was taking time and she wanted a refund  but we had already set it up to be installed.  I have an attorney to cancel the contract and we are going thru a legal battle but she is the one who cancelled.  One of my crew members called her to start the work but she refused and wanted a refund. There was no expiration date on the contract as to when it needed to be done but she refused to let us put it on.

    The company told me he would refund my money to me.  He has now been arrested by the local police.

    This was what police requested to prove the account was mine and the check numbers and the cashed checks.  I apologize for the personal information overload but they wanted proof positive.

    The case # the police have ********* is under investigation with pending arrest.  Mr ********* has admitted to the police he owes the money.  They have told him if he pays they will ask me to drop pending charges but he has not made good on his promise of this and continues....various persons just on my Facebook who came forward with settled suits through court or work that was defective such as mold and bad quality.

    The company claimed they sent someone out and I refused.  That was not true.  Someone called me and told me he would come out and put a roof on.  I asked if he was licensed and he said no.  That was the only effort made on this.
