    08-15-2023 is the date. I bought some land and a survey was done by Southern Missouri surveying. And as of now dec 14, 2023 still has not put markers on my boundaries like he was paid to. He is refused to do so in a timely manner. I'm trying to build and can't until this is done. I'm a disabled veteran and have already paid for the service to be done. I've already almost had trespassing charges trying to find my markers just to find out he refuses to so them. I've paid 2500 dollars to have it surveyed already.

    Corner markers were set today for the project ( 12-14-2023 ), as requested by Mr. *******

    The survey was required to be a "rush order" and was contracted by the seller of the tract, ****** *****, not Mr. ******* It was the understanding of this firm, to survey the tract of land in a very short timeframe, and pins may be set at a later date. The project was completed in a timely fashion, with the exception of the last step - the monumentation of the corners.

    Mr. ***** paid me $2200 ( Not $2500) via Venmo ( payment app )

    Mr. ****** never paid me anything, as he claims.

    Mr. ****** contacted me on December 4th via phone call, and then via text message, and requested the monuments be placed at the corners in the near future. I responded with an agreement to do so, but could not guarantee it would be during the timeframe he requested, due to the heavy workload and deadlines, as well as the proximity of his tract's location from other projects being currently worked on. I told Mr. ****** it would either be the end of this week ( December 15th), or the first part of the following week. Today (December 14th) I received text messages from Mr. ****** asking if I would be out to place monuments on December 15th, and I responded that I had a large job to finish in a neighboring town ( Caulfield, MO ) and if I finished it early, I would be out to finish placing the monuments. I was then met with threats of litigation. After I finished my projects today, December 14th, which were 2 counties away, I drove to his tract near Gainesville, MO and placed the corners as requested. I texted Mr. ****** and let him know that the corners were marked. His reply was "ok thanks".

    Normally, I am very happy to take care of situations like these, to the best of my ability.  In my 18 years of surveying, this is the first time some has threatened to bring suit against me, due to this type of complaint.
