This company is atrocious! ****** Gilder does not even deserve one star. When I contacted ****** Gilder for horse transportation, he was initially very responsive. I thought it was odd he only accepted payment via a payment app (e.g. Vemo), but I still paid. Once he received his deposit, he kept moving the shipping data back. His drivers finally picked up my horse on Friday and promised to bring him straight to me ( a ***** hour drive) yet didn't deliver him until Sunday at 4:00 a.m.-a full 24 hours late! My horse was dehydrated and had a severe laceration to its hind leg. Additionally, he had a gash over his eye, a **** wound, skinned knee and his hind shoe was ripped off. I've been calling ****** ever since to find out what happened, but he hangs up or ignores my calls. The seller is upset and has proof the horse left her place in perfect condition. My vet said the wound was ***** hours old, so I know he was severely injured while in ******'s care. ******'s trailers were absolute junk and I suspect he does not have any insurance. DO NOT TRUST ****** GILDER with your horse! Please! Read all the Yelp reviews. This guy should not be allowed to transport horses.

    Thats is very odd.
when my driver showed up with the horse on schedule.
there was 50% cash due at delivery.
My driver collected the 50% cash that was due and went on to his next drop.
It was storming and raining when he showed up the horse was clean and had been washed before transport.
12 hours later I get a call from the buyer.

she sent me pictures of the horses abrasions
the first thing I noticed was how muddy the horse was.
I assume that something happened in that 12 hours that she first had the horse

i have no idea what happened that day I do know that she paid the balance in cash to the driver

there Was never anything mentioned about the horse arriving skinned up

Im sure that if it had been she would not have paid the balance in cash
and also it was not muddy when we deliver
