BBB was contacted by the owner of M & L Gifts, LLC, Barbara Villalpando, who informed us via email that someone was using her company name without her permission. The website, http://mandlgifts.com, is a fake website and the address listed on that website was also fake. The owner contacted the MS Attorney General's office for assistance in taking the website down. As of July 11, 2017 the website is no longer functioning.
This company came to BBB's attention through customer reviews. The company claims to be offering a part time Senior Buyer position with a salary of $86,400. BBB contacted the company requesting basic information about the company including; physical address, names of principals, job description, items to be sold. When BBB's mail was returned, BBB sent a representative to the location listed on the company's website. The representative found that M & L Gifts was not located there. All mail was returned as "undeliverable" and no emails were answered.
