We from the beginning have had nothing but trouble and lies from the customer he was speaking with our salesman who we had to let go at the time of negotiations with the Customer which the customer stated that we could install a 5 ton unit at the same price as a 4 ton which I know wasn’t true but we did just that and added no money for the 5 ton upgrade and then he asked for a special pad for his outdoor unit to sit on which was definitely not in the quote but stated that Home Depot Installed this pad when they previously used them for a new system on a different house so we ordered this special pad at no cost to the customer at this point the job was being done with no profit which we didn’t cut any corners and still went above and beyond to keep the customer happy then we were called out about him not understanding how to use the thermostat and several other times which turned out to be nothing we had done wrong at no charge and even after our warranty was up we went out because he was having plumbing issues which isn’t covered under warranty and even if it would have been within our 1 year warranty we just tied into the existing plumbing like we always do which has nothing to do with the ac and it drained properly for the 1st year and he of course called and we went out several times and explained to him that he may need a plumber we have went through it multiple times and explained this isn’t a ac issue after making sure time and time again and we finally got to the point where we could not continue to lose money trying to keep the customer happy considering we were not responsible to begin with
