  My husband and I contracted with Victory Restoration, LLC of *** ***** **** in Canton, MS to complete a home roofing repair. We met with the contractor on May 7, 2022 & provided the first payment installment of $4112.44 The contractor informed us that supplies would be ordered and we should anticipate delivery of supplies on May 12, 2022. On May 12th we did not receive service delivery of roofing supplies. My husband spoke to the contractor multiple times in a two week time period in which he feigned surprise that our supplies had not been sent. He even sent my husband a “receipt” from a supplier to show that the supplies had been ordered. Using the phone number on the invoice, my husband directly contacted the supplier to inquire about the status of our supplies & learned that the contractor had indeed placed an order, but had never PAID for the supplies, knowing full well that items would not be delivered without payment. When my husband confronted him about his findings, he ultimately attempted to tell him that there was a misunderstanding. He later admitted that he would be unable to complete the job at the stated cost- the cost HE calculated and quoted us per our contract. He informed us, via phone and in text messages, that he would return our money via a mailed check the following week . When we did not receive our refund my husband contacted him & told him that he would present to his office to obtain the refund. The contractor stated that he was out of town but would follow up with his office regarding the status of our refund. That was the final communication with this contractor. He stopped returning phone calls & did not respond to any attempts for contact. We are currently pursuing legal action to address this issue. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS for any roofing/home repairs. This contractor has shown himself to be unscrupulous and a dishonest scam artist. He has done absolutely nothing other than cash our check & keep the money.
