This will be a lengthy and honest review.
So I didn't use this business directly. However I can't seem to find an actual business profile on google for their side hustle of "Home inspection"
However, I recommend NOT using this company due to the owner (*****) being the one who essentially put me and my family in a very bad situation.
My family and I had been searching for a home to relocate for about 6 months due to wanting to start a non-profit working with other disabled veterans, and we settled on Columbus. My realtor ****** real estate group said "They used him all the time" so I hired him to inspect the home. We still were located in Delaware and were very nervous about purchasing under tight circumstances(market increases etc) and not being able to physically see it before committing.
That being said, We hired Mr. **** and were reassured he was the best around by our realtor. I spoke with him on the phone and felt great that he was a fellow veteran and that he would take care of me. We paid a total of 750$ for him to do the initial inspection and the walk through on closing day. My wife and kids and myself were so excited we blindly trusted him and that's our mistake.
He was hired under another companies name "ABC home Inspections" to perform the inspection. He went through the list and made a few notations of stuff that can be seen with the naked eye. I asked repeatedly if certain things were inspected and had any issues. Like the bathtub in the master (Did it work fully and have hot water? etc) or Was the AC unit good to go? How was the plumbing etc?
I was assured all these things were in great working order with no issues.....Wrong. First issue was when I moved in with my family and went to change all of the air filters and found my drip pan for the air handler about one day from overflowing. called a hvac tech out and they informed me that a clog in the drain line doesnt happen overnight and takes a few months to buil
