      I had Four County ***************** and Fastnet to take over my internet and phone service over a year ago I have always been pleased with the service I was getting until tonight. Tonight in the middle of emailing, I noticed I had no contact list I have no idea what happened to my contact list, and called Four County and Fast tonight, 09/11/24, and the lady told me noone was there until tomorrow morning and to call back That is not any hel[ and I wish you would speak with Four County ***************** and Fastnet and have them call me

      The issue Mr. ******* has is not a legitimate issue with the FASTnet service. The issue that he is having is with his email contacts. I called him this morning and he was able to pull his contacts up last night. This is a user issue not a ********************** **************** issue.

      We moved into our new house on August 24 and I signed up for 4County FastNet, as per recommended by the seller’s realtor for our area. I called and got service started, and was told they would come do our fiber drop and then do the in-house install. We waited about a week to 10 days without hearing anything else from 4County, so I called and was ONLY THEN explained that the fiber drop is done by an outside contracted company, and it could take “weeks to months” to get set up. I explained my husband does work from home needing internet, with no avail or help from 4County. It has now been over a month, and I contacted 4County again, and they said all they can see is a note saying we needed 75 feet of underground wire. I told the receptionist that I was not sure how they knew that as we have had no signs that anyone has been out here. She said the note had no date on it, further confirming that no one has even started on our fiber drop. If we had any other internet options in our area, fiber or not, I would have already cancelled this service and signed up for another provider. No one at FastNet is communicating within their business, nor initiating any business with their clients.

      I have reviewed ****** ******** complaint. Fastnet is a fiber company that has started from the ground up and construction does take a little longer than expected for our customers. It can take 9-10 weeks from the first initial contact till the installation is complete.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Last night, a contracted business came in the evening when it was dark and dropped our fiber line. The lady I spoke to today from 4County was not aware this group even came, but assured me that someone would be by in the next couple of days.

      Yes mam, I was aware that the crew would possibly be there yesterday. I had spoken to them on the phone before calling you. I did not want to overpromise, and something happen that could have been out of their control, and they not be able to make it. You should be installed within the next few days.

      This issue started between June & July 2023. I received new service from 4 County for lights and during that time I put in a order for Fast - Net at my new residence also. I didn't have to pay a deposit or anything just put in and order. well fast forward to July. I have been calling everyday only to get the same response. I have been told every week that they are waiting on splicing to be done and waiting on electric to be turned on. Well my lights have been on over a month I hv received my 1st bill already. I also made a call before reporting this today and spoke with Mrs. ******** and I was told the same exact same thing what I was told last week. The only difference is I mention the BBB Service and she stated she would email the manger today. She was very understanding she stated that he reads the email in the evenings and if he response today she would give me call bk. Just a concern customer who needs internet services and I am not understanding what's taking so long. Especially when my kids need it for school and college. Thanks

      Since receiving this complaint, the customers internet has been installed as of 8-30-23. The home was a new construction and was not in our original design. We had to have the fiber redesigned in order to add this home to our fiber map. Once added to our map, construction began. With main line fiber being hung, splicing, the drop being ran and installation, it just takes a little while for these processes to happen. Unlike the electric service, where main lines are in place and have been for over 80 years, where a service line has to be run to house. We do try to explain to the customers when signing up that it will take some time to get the service.
