      I think ****** got the business from daddy and is just not capable of handling it. Counter and telephone people should be pleasant and inviting. I was spoken to on the phone by an employee as if I was wasting her time. Not once not twice but every time over a period of a week. My family was treated rudely by two employees while attempting to pick up merchandise that was already paid for and ready. I made a courtesy call to management which put the icing on the cake. No wonder the employees are rude.

      By the time I spoke with Ms. ****, I do not think I could have said anything to make her happy. She had already called another location due to me not returning her phone called, as I had yet to check my voicemails. When she called in her credit card she got mad at the cashier (which I only have one), returned her back to the salesman to get her email address so her invoice could be emailed to her, this was an uacceptable response for her. My cashier (which I have NEVER had a complaint on before and she has been here for over 2 years) had a few in person customers in from of her to wait on. Phillips Building Supply's policy is to take care of the in person customers over phone ins, so they can receive the proper attention in person the customers that actually take the time to come in and handle their business will always be taken care of over phone ins, as it should be. I tried to explain to Ms. **** this may have been what happened, but she just would not accept my response. When her daughter came in to pick up her door unit, she did not who she spoke with so she went to the sales counter where the saleperson asked her some questions, this was also unacceptable, her response was "he should have known what she was there for". WE DO NOT have a pick up order counter, like a restaurant. We actually have two different departments for doors, one is residential, the other is commercial, unless the salesperson asks questions, they do not know what someone may be needing. When the salesperson asked her who her salesperson was, this also offended her! I tried to explain all of this to Ms. ****, but she did not like any of those responses and hanged up the phone. I am truly sorry this happened to her, but I will stand behind my cashier as well as my salespeople. I would have hoped she could have been a bit more understanding, as I do not think she would be pleased if one of my salespeople or cashier, stopped taking care of her business if she were standing in front of one of them to take care of someone over the phone.
