      In November of 2024, I received a notice by mail that the termite service at the home I purchased that year needed renewal. I was unaware the home had a service contract, A few days later, a Redds technician showed up at the door. He stated that we would need an inspection before the service could be reinstated. I called the ************ and scheduled the inspection. The home passed and the service was scheduled for December 13, 2024. After the service, I paid the annual fee and was told I would see them again next December. On May 1st, I received an email that the renewal was once again due. I wrote back stating the service had been completed last December. After a few emails, I requested the renewal date be changed to correspond to the service date. I receive a rude call from a man stating they wouldn't change the date and that they would cancel the contract. I wrote an email requesting a copy of the documentation transferring the service agreement and that if they didn't have the documents, to changed the date or the renewal fee to be prorated at least. I did not receive a response or any documentation. Today, the service technician called me and asked why I requested the service be cancelled, that the service was completed in December. He too didn't understand why the date had not been changed. I told him I didn't request a cancellation, that I was threatened with it. The technician made an attempt to discuss it with the rude man, but he would not budge. I did not receive any transfer agreement, it was not disclosed to me that there were be another renewal fee due in just six months, but the rude man from the corporate office didn't care. I will not do business with them again. I would encourage others to avoid them as well.

      Today, 05/12/2025, my alarm system alerted me to the presence of trespassers.  Via video camera, I see it is Redds.  In retaliation for my complaint to the BBB, Redds has trespassed on my property and removed all of the bait stations.  On May 6, 2025, I informed the technician that they could remove their equipment when I came back to the home in November.  They had waited until I came home in December last time, so it shouldn't be a problem.   He agreed, but someone came today anyway, without authorization from me.  I believe I am entitled to a refund equivalent to seven months service.  I paid for their service on December 13th and they are removing their service on May 12th.

      Our General Manager reached out to Mrs. ********** and successfully resolved the issues she had raised. She is continuing her pest and termite services and will continue to be a valued customer of **********************.  Please let me know if there is anything further we need to do on our end to close out this complaint?

      The issue has been resolved by the General Manager of Redds.  They have reinstalled the bait stations and changed the renewal date to 12/13/2026.  I'm grateful to the BBB for providing the platform for my complaint.
