    Started a rental agreement with this company 2023. Within 10 days my rental truck broke down on the side of the highway. I called roadside out and they diagnosed the problem, I then needed to be towed to the nearest shop for repairs. After arriving to the shop I waited until the next day to get approval for the facility to start diagnosing the truck. Once the truck was diagnosed it was discovered the part needed was on back order and had been for months. At this time being current on my rental agreement I immediately asked for a possible loaner to get back to moving, I was given the run around and told they believe it was a way to get a part to me faster then it would be to place me in a loaner. I wondered how could this be being it was on back order, I waited around a few days and they informed me they believed a part on another used truck on the lot would fit and they were sending it. I was firm on not being comfortable with this they continued to say once the backordered part make it they would put it on and it was no big deal. The part made it but it didn’t line up correctly the shop had to wait on additional piece to make it fit. I finally got the truck back and it drove ok for a couple of days and then every time I turned it off it would not crank again. After turning the truck off it would take me 6 7 attempts every time including periods of waiting just to get it to start. This caused a lot of missed loads and misunderstandings with the company I was leased to. In the process of checking back here and there for the status of the part on back order and explaining the truck condition still I was told to just let it run as much to prevent that, then the truck started needing to regen more than often, so I started back turning it off as normally. After months of being told the part was still on back order, finally was told that when the part arrived it was placed on another truck and yet another one would have to be ordered for my truck that was barely drivable

    Spoke with ***** on the phone told her my plans and who I was interviewing with,after talking with her I decided on t680,they agreed that the company I was leasing to was reputable and excited for me!! The truck was used,so I knew the chances.. however when we get to freedom way, we were met and treated with professionalism. We looked the truck over drove it, was happy after talking to shop,and everyone concerned there,and spoke to them several times since about mileage and payments, also about service. Everything we've been told has been held up on both our sides. Looking at getting another one through them!!! Thanks *****!!! And everyone there!!!

    Unfortunately I had to return the truck (2016 Peterbilt 579 Orange & White). This was an experience I wish on no one ever have to endure This truck was not conducive to running a trucking business. At this point I cant find the words to describe my experience. The truck was picked up yesterday and I just confirmed that it is back with FreedomWay Trucks today (5/27/2022).
    Mileage when truck was leased 9/21/2021 522182
    Mileage when truck was returned 5/27/2022 532706.
    I made an honest attempt at operating this truck but due to numerous breakdowns I was unable to operate my business. I still belive that most people are honest and I am still holding on to hope and the expectation of honesty.
    Since 5/272022 I have tried numerous times to speak to someone about getting a refund, fir the most part they have been rude. During my ordeal with the truck I was speaking with ******** who told me she did extensive research on my issue and found my horrible experience to be true, however whenever I call to speak with ******* she is either on vacation or out of the office for the day. I will continue my efforts to recover my deposit.
    In my opinion this company needs to be held accountable for selling or leasing trucks that are opperatable.

    We understand that Mr. ********'s commercial truck did go into the shop multiple times. We are very sorry for that inevery situation, but as a used vehicle it will require ongoing and repeat maintenance. However, Mr. ******** asked us tocome get the truck for him. He was unable to keep a driver under his employ and that is the cause for return of truck—not repair or defective equipment issues. Mr. ******** told us he lost a driver at less seven documented times on hisaccount. The inability to keep an employee driving the unit prevented it from being driven. After the final time heinformed us in May, he spoke to *******, who is the Customer Care Manager. She informed him at least twice there wouldbe no refund. Since then he has contacted us twice more and been told there is no refund and explained the charges thataccrued on his account during which he had the truck but did not have a driver to drive it.
