On or around April 17, 2025, I received a text from Pine Belt Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) containing a service approval link for my Jeep. The link clearly listed only $137 in authorized work, and I approved that amount. I explicitly communicated via text that I did not want to approve any additional recommended repairs and that the link would not allow me to proceed without selecting a recommendation—which I stated I did not wish to approve. I reiterated this concern in writing.

Despite this, Pine Belt CDJR moved forward with additional repairs without my consent and is now demanding $1,982 in payment before releasing my vehicle. They are refusing to honor the original agreement and are holding my Jeep until the full balance is paid, citing my response as implied authorization.

This constitutes unauthorized service and predatory business practice, as I never approved the additional repairs or charges beyond the $137. My communications, which I have documented via screenshots, clearly show that I voiced concern and only agreed to the service item explicitly listed.
I am requesting immediate assistance in recovering my vehicle and resolving this dispute fairly. I am willing to pay the originally approved amount of $137, and I believe the additional charges should be dismissed.
