    Redmed in Hernando Mississippi refuses to adjust my account to a zero balance. I have went up there with my bank statements to prove they have been paid. I was informed by the receptionist over a month after the visit that the card machine reversed my payment. I went to my bank immediately and had the banker to print out a copy of my bank statement and took it into redmed. The same reception said she could not accept this at the time and wanted to see more of my bank ************** told her no that is private. All you need to see is what is circled for Redmed on my bank account. I have attached this same form as proof in this dispute. I called back that same week and spoke with a billing administrator ***** changes the story to its actually the $50 is not for our machine messing up it is insurance didn't cover your Rsv test. I immediately told the redmed administrator that my cigna insurance covers all testing and my visit under the one $50 co pay. I called my insurance Cigna and did a three way phome call with the same billing administrator and again Cigna told Redmed administrator ****************** plan covers all testing under the co pay and she does not owe you any more money. Redmed administrator refused even then to remove the $50 from my account. I have had my bank and insurance to reach out to this company & the billing administrator refuses no matter what to make my account and zero balance. The reason I put $100.00 for amount paid box is because my ************* were seen a day apart and my bank account shows the two separate $50 co pays, Redmed is only saying it was not paid for the one $50.

    This patient and her daughter were both seen at our Hernando clinic on 12/1/24. Both patients had a $50.00 copay each and we charged those separately. The patient contacted us and spoke with the office manager on 12/7/24 regarding a $50.00 bill she received on her daughter's account. After speaking with her and the insurance company and being informed the patient was only responsible for the $50.00 copay and not an additional $50.00 for testing, we reached out to our billing department and removed the $50.00 balance from her daughter's account. On 1/2/25, we received a letter in the mail from her credit card company, stating she had disputed one of the $50.00 charges from 12/1/24. We sent the patient a message on 1/21/25 to inform her she owes the $50.00 balance. She called the clinic yesterday, 2/5/25, and paid the balance in full. We understand how confusing insurance can be and are sorry for any frustration this has caused.
