      I use a CPAP machine and equipment. They called to send me new supplies and I agreed. The supplies they sent do not fit my CPAP machine. I immediately call them and informed them I received supplies that would not work. I took the supplies to the closest Hometown Health in **********, **. They called again and sent more supplies, those did not work with my CPAP as well. I also returned these supplies to ********** office. The date on the bill is 10/18/2024 which I assume is from the original shipment. I have called every month about the bill and spoke with someone who took my information. They added a late fee for equipment I never received. I told them repeatedly to call me to straighten this out. They have never called back but each time, they say they will pass it on. Last bill I received 1/25/2025, they are threatening me with legal action if not paid in 10 days, that date is already past. Could you please check into this matter? The amount of the bill is small, $32.94 Account number *****. I plan to call them again on Monday. I am going to ask for a complete copy of all billing sent over the last 4/5 months.Thank you *** ***** ************

      I went ahead and paid the balance that Hometown Health of ** said I owed.  I heard from them and they returned my check and said I didn't owe anything.  I told them, I didn't wish to order from them in the future.  

      I feel this has resolved my problem with the company. Thanks for helping, I believe they did this because of being contacted by BBB.

      Went to hometown healthcare on 10.29.22 met with ******** RT for a new CPAP machine w/removable heated humidifier, face mask, hose, connector, filter, memory card and carrying bag. Told $263.06 a month for 9 months then would own equipment. I said -can’t afford it, how much to purchase outright she said your insurance doesn’t allow it. I said I needed to call insurance. She said go ahead and take it, wait to see what ins. pays, sometimes takes a few weeks, you have 30 days anyway, I said 30 days for what and she said we allow 30 day trial period, if it doesn’t work out for you just return it within 30 days and you won’t owe anything. I said I will wait and look into it and she said there’s no reason to wait, your doctor ordered it and you need it right now so just take it and see how it works out, there’s no risk because you can bring it back with no charge within 30 days.
      I spoke with Aetna 10.14.2022 and was told it could be purchased. Called billing-no call back, 10.20.22 called again-no call. On 10.21.2022 went to HHC -returned all items listed above. Myself, my daughter, ******** and 2 office people were present. I told them that Aetna said I could purchase equipment but no one called me back from billing and I need to get this figured out but I’m bringing it back before I get charged. ******** said, yeah, she’d be interested to find out what’s going on. I said once I hear from billing I may be back depending on purchase price. I also told them at the time that I wasn’t able to use the machine much because the mask was defective and I showed ******** and I said if I purchase I need a different mask and she agreed it could be swapped. Spoke with Aetna- said claim rec’d 10.18.2022 billed as purchase not rental as I was told. Have called HHC total of 11 times, 4 times spoke to ******- I said I would go get items I returned and pay, she said they threw them away. Keep getting threatening notes with bills, won’t return my calls.
