Hi, I am specifically referring to the business office. I have had nothing but issues with this office. They do not communicate and they do not return calls in an appropriate time. The school just wants your money. One person tells you one thing and another person tells you something else. To start my daughter is a out of state freshman. After loans and financial my daughter owed a balance last semester of first $2,000. This semester is $3,000.By the middle of the first semester I was told I had to pay $3,000 because they screwed her housing plan up. I had to set up a payment plan, upon setting up a payment plan I was asked to pay a deposit with a $100 fee. The fall deposit was i believe $750. I thought payment plans are set up because a person can not afford to pay. Moving to fall semester, I purchased my daughter a flight to return back to school on 1/10/24. While my daughter was awaiting her boarding time, I get a call from her crying hysterically and in stress because she was suppose to attend a school sponsored trip on 1/11/2024 to ******* and she heard that if her tuition isnt paid or a payment plan isnt set up then she could not attend the trip nor get into her dorm room.I tried calling the business office as well as my daughter no one answered. I eveb left a voicemail. My duaghter reached out to a peer that mentioned money to be paid as of 1/10/24 by 6pm with no prior communication . There was no email sent before the break nor before 1/10/24. My daughter had a connecting flight and landed to her first destination and called me to say there was an email sent an hour ago stating the funds needed to be paid. The school knows children from all over the world is coming back to school at their parents expense. To tell children if their tuition isnt paid they couldnt go into their dorm rooms, cant go on trips , send students home because they are paying with two different debit cards, and to tell them get a hotel in a state where they live alone is ridiculous!
