I had a good experience with the doctor but their business office is a nightmare. I paid for my surgery in full BEFORE I had surgery. They posted my payment to the wrong account. That was nearly 6 months ago. I continue to be harassed with collection calls and threats for collection agency action FOR THEIR ACCOUNTING ERROR. It's their error. I've been on the phone with them many times and it's just well we've got several accounts that are like that and they are working on fixing it. Meanwhile, I continue to get collections calls and notices. They say they have notes in the system that I am actually overpaid but their system automatically dials the collection calls on open accounts and automatically sends the threatening notices. The fact is, that not only have I paid them, but I have OVERPAID them. I don't owe them. THEY OWE ME! Once they finally transfer the payment to the correct account, it will reflect that I have an overpayment.
Bottom line is that it's not helpful to have a decent doctor if you must spend the rest of your life being harassed by the business office over THEIR ACCOUNTING ERROR. That's unfair. That's poor business ethics. And they say they have many accounts like that. They have many accounts for which they harassing people to get more money out of them, while they are sitting on overpayments. That's wrong. It's unethical. They need to fire all of their business office staff and try again. It's wrong to repeatedly threaten collection agency actions over THEIR ACCOUNTING ERROR. That's bad business.
