Warning to women.. My wife went to Gateway Tire in Flowood *** to get her tires rotated. ***** and the tech told her that the tires were dry rotted, and they would not rotate them. I had already looked at the tires before she went by there and seen nothing wrong except for wear and that was the reason for rotating them. I rotated the tires and inspected closer and still no rot. She went back by there and asked the manager to look at the tires and he said he didn't see anything wrong and then she told him what she was told. He didn't seem concerned about it at all. This is how this store treats women and people who don't know any better. This is not the first time it has happened there but I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time. It won't happen again.

We apologized to our customers for any communication issues. The tires were not dry rotted but both the inside and outside edges were bald and down below 4/32's. They need to be replaced. We are not understanding where the term "dry rot" came into the conversation. We are concerned about the comment about women, for women, as well as men, come to us for expert advice. We make judgements based on industry standards. The safety of all customers in our top priority. Our manager and the salesperson who worked with our customer, both went out to her vehicle with her and showed her the issues. We appreciate their business and hope they will come again. We apologize for any misunderstanding.
