    03/17/2023 Tow truck called to tow a commercial truck to a repair shop. In the process, the truck was improperly hooked up and resulted in the securement of the tow truck cracking the radiator. This radiator had been replaced within the last five years so was basically new. A towing company owner and the mechanics who replaced the radiator explained that the securement used to tow the truck was improperly placed and caused the resulting damage to the radiator. I have emailed, called, and mailed a certified letter with the issues resulting from the towing. The owner/management has completely refused to acknowledge the incident nor offer any resolution to the results. Receipts for towing and explanations of repair costs as well as lost revenues have been presented to the company. The company is required to carry insurance which assists in covering things like this that happen in towing. The incident cost my company about $4900 over the original down time and needed repairs that resulted in the towing. I am simply asking for the company to recognize the damages and make restitution for the damages and lost revenues. Repairs: $221.38 (radiator fluid) + $540 (radiator) + $750 (replacement) totaling $1511.38 Lost revenues for loads already scheduled that had to be cancelled: $1075+$1126.93+$1206.52 totaling 3408.45. Losses from this incident totaled $4919.90. Considering the insurance coverage, this should not have presented an impossible demand but caused severe financial difficulties for the company.
