    Powll Heating and Cooling service installed a new air conditioner unit in the summer of 2022. They assured us that they were putting in a great unit and they were doing everything they could to make sure everything was added or switched that needed to be with a new unit and an older home. Fast forward to today, my heat is not working correctly. I know longer have the home warranty company due to many reasons, so we called a local guy that many of the people in our town recommend. He came out and said when you change the compressor from an R22 to a 410 you have to also change the evaporator. Powell's heating and cooling did not do this. So our AC has been leaking freon this entire time and he said that one of the parts is getting so much pressure put on it the condisener is about to explode. I have three babies and can not imagine what would have happened had that happen. Even if the home warranty had not been willing to pay for the evaporator, Powell Heating and Cooling should have told us it needed to be replaced and given us to the option to fix it. Also, last year we had a problem with the AC (only 1 year old) and Powell Heating and Air would not come out to look at it.
