      For the last year I have been charged late fees constantly. Each time I have talk to them Barbers Gautier ** they keep promising me the problem is fixed At first the say they cant control autopay, but then they said its fixed. Over and over again this problem has occurred. I even tried the home office and still dont get any messages returned. If this problem dont get fixed , I am going to look into legal actions. Can we fixed this please. I think I have paid close to 200 dollars in late fees and none was my fault.

      He has been charged late fees when the account is late. We cannot control when the payment declines and then the account goes late. Over the entire agreement he has been given 40 free days to fix the fact that his payments sometimes decline and he goes late. He claims its not his fault but making his payment on time is his responsibility not ours. We can take the account off of autopay and make him come pay in person if he would like. 
      Also,I have not received any complaints through home office for him. Only been told by ******* a couple of times that he is off on his pay period in which I responded by giving the customer free time to get him back on his pay period.Him going late again is entirely on him, not Babers.

      I would like this company to be investigated for violating my rights and going against the Federal and State collection laws. They called my Aunt and told her they are having the police to come my house if I don’t call them. They called 2 other people and told them I didn’t pay my bill. I have this all recorded as well. I have also submitted multiple request and told them they don’t have permission to contact my reference and they still do which is illegal. I spoke to the corporate office because they keep trying to run my card fraudulently after I notified them email they don’t have permission. My next step is to seek legal action for violating my rights as well as the stress from the situation. They also are not holding up to their contract and I’ve been over charged.

      Originally I purchased furniture from this business back in May, it was delivered two weeks LATE. They still expected payment the following week although I was promised two weeks no payment. I became default around the time the first payment was due and explain to one of the workers that I was out of town. Im out of town frequently , when I did return there were tiny bed bugs in the bed I was leasing so I contacted higher management . After calling corporate I was ridiculed, mocked and called a liar. After no avail, i hung the phone up. ***** later i received a threatening voicemail from an UNKOWN NUMBER no call back number or anything, just some woman saying I work for babers lawyers or whatever , they filed something against you , it is a felony call before this weekend. As disturbed I was by this unprofessional message, whoever called never stated their name or a call back number, just GHETTO. I received another voicemail which I assume was an accident and could hear ******* saying you know we finna turn this MOTHERF***** around and see if she gets the door tag off the door it was three minutes of BABERS EMPLOYEES discussing my personal issues as if their laugh of the day. The ***** also says debt collectors can't use false, deceptive, or misleading practices. This includes misrepresentations about the debt, including:The amount owed That the debt collector is an attorney if they are not False threats to have you arrested Threats to do things that cannot legally be done Threats to do things that the debt collector has no intention of doing Babers has done four out of the five things mentioned above. I have formerly filed a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau.

      From Store 48 ****** **************** is also 65 days late.   Landlord already has eviction completed just waiting on time to be up so he can go in.


      First payment default.   Has been avoiding us. Tried to say had a bedbug issue, but when I offered to come out and look,she didnt contact us back.  She contacted *********** and I called her back regarding the same issue. She wont let us in to get anything and no longer talking to us.  We have spoke with ********, who is in the process of evicting and has agreed to let us in when the days are up order so we can get our property.

      This is a complaint against babers furniture store I've let some things slide with them when they double and triple charged my account several times in 1 day, again the same issue the next week and then we had issues with the products and reported it to them that the issues was burning wires in a dryer that was being purchased from them they kind of shrugged it off like not their problem, well 3 to 4 days after reporting it the dryer cord caught fire and bout burned my house down I took the cord to them and they still did nothing even with proof I told them to come get their stuff after talking to the district manager and they didn't and then went on to process a double payment witch was $131 roughly after the big lady in the new albany store TOLD ME MY DEBIT CARD WAS NO LONGER ON FILE SHE BALD FACE LIED TO ME BECAUSE I TOLD THEM UNTILL THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED I WILL NOT PAY ! She stated she would take pictures of the burned cord and forward it to her boss and he brushed it off stating it was my fault dryer caught fire yet my land lord hand a electrician come out and look into it and he said it was all the dryers fault and the district manager wanted to argue on the phone saying he been doing this for xxx number of years and he ain't never seen a brand new dryer due such thing and it doesn't matter if a dryer is 1 day old are 10 years old it can still catch fire, I'm upset they still charged me but yet resolved the issues before double charging me this company needs shut down for scamming people

      The reason he was charged so many times in one
      day was because he was on auto draft at 1st, the draft ran the card that
      morning, and he also called in that same day to make a payment.  And when
      he called back that afternoon to complain about the payment taken out so many
      times the payment was reversed. But when the payment was reversed at the store,
      they reversed one to many, and it caused it to run behind again. So, the next
      day it was drafted again, and it was fixed then.  And with the dryer plug
      he did come in the store and told them about it, and I called him when I saw
      the pictures, I told him that the way the plug was burned it looks like it came
      from a faulty plug.  He said that he will call me back because he may
      return it, asked him did he want me to schedule a return while I had him on the
      phone and he said that he has to check with his wife 1st and
      call me back, and that was the last I heard anything from him. It is my understanding there was no fire at his home.

      My payments was set on auto draft so i didnt need to call to make a payment they just toom the payments automatically so that is on them, far as the fire we was able to stop it before it got bad we had some smoke damage behind the dryer after talking to manager i called back the next day to talk to someone in office and told them to come and get the stuff we didnt want the headache of dealing with it and they still havent came and got it but charged us again last week for it, this companyis a scam to everyone that goes there charging 3 times the price of what a item is worth then refuse to work with customer and blame the customerfor issues!
